When harry potter is left on the door
step of #4 privet drive it is known to the reader but not known to
harry potter himself for much later in his life that he is a very
special boy wizard. We find out very early on that harry potter's
parents were murdered by the evil wizard whom should not be named,
Voldemort. However it is not until several trials and tribulations
later and reaching the age of 12 when Hagrid nock's down a door when
harry potter finds out this information. Up until this point he had
been fed the story that his parents died in a car crash and that
their was nothing special about him, that he in fact was dumped on
their doorstep and he was lucky to have their neglectfully provided
home. Growing up until the age of 12 he was always blamed for any
weird things that occurred around the Dursley's and did not quiet
understand why everything seemed to happen when he was around. After
the age of 12 he is provided the information that he is a boy wizard
whose parents were very well known and that their were great things
expected from him. After he found out this information regardless of
the Dursle'ys intentions to not let him go to Hogwarts Hagrid,
Dumbledore and others insisted that he attended and he chose to.
While attending Hogwarts he finds out that the same wizard whom
attacked and killed his parents was going to go after him, but only
when the danger was evident. The rest of the series focuses on his
continued development finding out about his growing up in the
wizarding world and provided information year after year that he
would not have been provided before. The series continually grows
darker and darker and he is clearly at the center of the stage
receiving it all whether he wants to or not.
