While reading the first two books
of Harry Potter, I feel like I lose myself in it. Yes, I can relate to the characters in many
ways. Mostly because I’m an odd ball
myself, but I find myself in side the book.
I can picture myself being Hermione.
Being more than just into her studies because sometimes I find myself
going beyond what is required of me. For
me, it’s so easy for me to imagine how I would be as each character. Also I
remember when I was like Nevil in book one when he tried to stop Hermione, Ron,
and Harry into leaving to go and search for the sorcerer’s stone because I was
once put into that same situation myself.
I find it easier to adapt to the characters. I picture myself in the characters
situations.
I
feel like it’s so easy for people to relate to the characters. Even though it is a magical world, their
world is exactly the same as ours. They
have classes of people, like we have the rich and poor; the magical world has
pure blood and mud bloods. I also think
we can relate a lot of the characters to real life people that we may
know. For example, I feel like I have my
own very Professor Snape. Quidditch is
another example of how reality and magic are alike. Quidditch is like football or soccer; people
get excited about it. In conclusion, I think we all can relate to the Harry Potter
books, because people can easily relate to the characters and situations.
